The Three Horseshoes in Batcombe, Somerset.
Batcombe, is a short drive from that village famous for the London-set, Bruton, but is a world away from it. Instead you will find a collection of pretty houses, an impressive church and the foodie haven that is the Three Horseshoes.
About - the owners
The Three Horseshoes, a 17th Century Inn opened by Margot Henderson, chef, cookery writer, co-patron of the Rochelle Canteen in Shoreditch, and Max Wigram, former London gallerist who has a second home nearby, which he shares with his wife, fashion designer Phoebe Philo, whose mother and sister have just opened Philo Philo, a super-stylish homeware shop, in uber-trendy nearby Bruton. So with this pedigree at the helm, you can see why this pub is your next weekend break destination.
The pub is wonderful for all seasons with a cosy locals bar, 2 dining rooms, a courtyard, terrace and lawn for outdoor dining and drinking and 5 exceptionally luxurious and comfortable en suite bedrooms.
