Design Dupe - Green stemmed glasses
Green glasses are all over Instagram, popping up in trendy eateries in London. Here are my top picks.
When I saw this image above, it stopped me mid-scroll. An afternoon aperitif of olives, crackers and a glass of cold cider at Zephyr restaurant in Notting Hill. It’s the green stemmed glasses that I fell in love with. These and the moment in time, the photographer has created.
Since this image, I’ve spotted these vintage Luminarc hock glasses popping up all over the place. They seem to be the glasses du jour. I love them so much, the bright green stem giving a pop of vivid colour to the table.

I’ve hunted for a set of these green stemmed beauties for months now, and finally spotted 12 for sale for £3 each at the Shepton Mallet Giant Flea. OH MY GOD.
Stupidly, I only had enough cash for 4, but these 4 are now my glasses for everything at home. Water on the table, small glasses of wine, a cocktail? Yep it’s in these. If you don’t want to wait to find some in a flea market, car boot or charity shop, you can pick a set of Luminarc hock glasses on eBay - a set of 4 will set you back around £20.
