Design Dupes: Brass table lamps
A little look at the world of interiors and fashion and how we can get a certain design 'look' for a lot less.
I have fallen in love with this Matilda Goad brass table lamp. It’s a fact. I’ve even seen it IRL - when Matilda’s trunk show came to Bristol before Christmas. So yes, this has been a love lust for quite a while.
Sadly, with the £525 price tag (shade is £175 & base is £350) - I can’t quite stretch my meagre budget to this. So I’ve been doing a deep google image search and discovered the ‘look’ for a lot less.
I know, I know it’s not the real thing, but I think if I style it nicely, then it could have a similar impact. So here is what I found;

Pooky: Pod table lamp with 20cm straight empire shade in brasso - £197
Pooky: Pod table lamp with 20cm empire ruckle shade in brass - this is the most ‘dupe’ out of all these lamps. I love the fluted brass shade. £202
Insight cordless lighting: Cordless table lamp - I actually have this one in my kitchen, and it’s great to be able to move it around the house as it’s cordless and remote controlled. But it’s a little small for the space in the lounge. £72
